AIMS - Area Information Management System
Aims is an Internet based inventory tracking application developed by Production Software Ltd Christchurch. The Aims system provides realtime information of Customer stock levels in storage at South Port. Aims tracks Cargo movements from Customer Site to storage and load out of cargo. Customers gain full access to product information at any time. Aims runs on Internet Explorer 5 and Netscape 4(or higher versions).

DescriptionClients are able to control and monitor not only their inventory but it's movements as well. Clients can access their data 24 hours a day 365 days a year. Access has been built into the system to ensure that clients can access only their confidential data.The system maintains a complete log of all transactions for auditing and billing purposes A variety of standard reports are available directly at the clients site. Additional ad hoc reports can be prepared by the client through the XML data exporting function. Improved through on-line real time control over all operations. As the data is available at the workplace then validation is performed in real time. Apart from the physical reports the remainder of the system is completely electronic. |
